The cost of soft drinks when dining out is getting to the point of stupid. With some restaurants charging as much as $3.50, you’d be wise to use the phrase, “Water, please.”
In doing so, you’ll save between $1.00 and $3.50 each time you dine out. Over the next 46 weeks, that can pile up to a hundred dollars or more in savings. Get your spouse and kids on board and that number multiplies.
And, consider this - in a year’s time, you won’t remember a single thing about that soft drink, but you’ll surely remember that awesome vacation you financed in part by saying, “Water, please.”
As a bonus, when you drink more water, you’ll likely lose a few LBs along the way. I did. I lost 50 of them when I kicked soda to the curb.
